Disease Description
Decubitus ulcers are chronic, hard-to-heal ulcers caused by prolonged bed rest leading to pressure and friction on affected areas. Known historically as "mat sores." Characteristics: initial redness at pressure site, followed by ulceration, necrosis, poor healing, and even progression to subcutaneous tissue, muscle, or bone. Unrelated to season, age, or gender. Primarily a complication of serious or chronic wasting diseases, thus active prevention is essential.
1. Bai Huang San (White Yellow Powder)
Formula: Mix the three herbs finely, sieve through a fine mesh, store in a bottle for later use. After routine disinfection of the wound, sprinkle the medicine generously over the ulcer surface, cover with disinfected gauze, secure, change dressing once daily. One course lasts 7 days.
Preparation Method: 40 grams each of rhubarb and calcined gypsum, appropriate amount of Yunnan Baiyao

Formula: Grind all ingredients into fine powder, sieve through a fine mesh, store in a bottle for later use. After routine disinfection of the wound, sprinkle the medicine generously over the ulcer surface, cover with disinfected gauze, secure, change dressing once daily. One course lasts 7 days.
Preparation Method: 50 grams of calamine, 20 grams of cinnabar, 40 grams of calcined gypsum, 15 grams of cuttlebone, 3 grams of forsythia, 30 grams of Yunnan Baiyao
