Empirical Formula for Gastric Ptosis
Etiology: Patients suffering from this condition endure great discomfort. It originates from excessive hunger before dinner, leading to impaired gastric function and inability to absorb nutrients properly. Over time, this accumulates and causes gastric ptosis. This condition has proven effective empirical remedies.
Formula:
(1) 1 small teaspoon (dry powder) of American ginseng, taken with warm water at 2 p.m.
(2) Half a bowl of brown rice juice cooked with shiitake mushrooms, consumed at 9 p.m. Preparation: Soak half a bowl of brown rice in water for about 6 hours, then blend into brown rice juice using a juicer. Cut 3 pieces of shiitake mushrooms into strips, place in a pot with some water, cook until soft, then mix into the brown rice juice to form a porridge. Add sugar and salt as desired. Eat half a bowl only—do not overeat. Continue for 20 consecutive days. This formula has been successfully used by many.
Note: Both remedies should be used in coordination at the prescribed times.
