Treatment for Chronic Eczema
1. 20 grams each of realgar and Semen Sapium, 50 grams each of Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Fructus Kochiae, Herba Cnidii, and Cortex Dictamni, 30 grams of Herba Centipedae; boil these herbs in water, concentrate the decoction, remove residue to obtain 1500 ml, then mix with powdered realgar. Soak affected areas with the liquid, twice daily, 30 minutes per session. Usually cured within 2–3 days.
2. 30 grams each of Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Sodium Nitrate, and Alumen; add 1000 ml water, boil down to 150 ml after removing residue. Mix with 30 grams of calamine powder to form a paste, apply externally twice daily.
3. 20 grams of lead powder, 10 grams each of Alumen and resin of pine tree, 5 grams of borneol, 10 grams of gallnut; grind into fine powder, mix with good vinegar to form paste, apply with cotton swab, three times daily. <eczema>
