【Comment】
Jin's view: functional uterine bleeding is mostly deficiency with little excess. Therefore, in the basic formula, Codonopsis Pilosula and Astragalus Membranaceus tonify Qi and arrest bleeding; White Peony Root and Angelica Sinensis nourish blood and enrich essence, supporting vital energy. This formula treats both root and branch simultaneously. After bleeding stops, continue with Gui Pi Tang and Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang for post-treatment adjustment, hence good efficacy.<Uterine Bleeding>
