Formula Name: Yang's Regulation of Chong Meridian Decoction
【Function and Indications】
Function: Tonifying kidney, regulating Chong meridian, soothing liver and cooling blood. Indicated for ovulatory uterine bleeding.
【Prescription Composition】
(1) Shu Di 12g, Shan Yao 12g, Shan Yu Rou 12g, Tu Si Zi 12g, Xian Ling Pi 12g, Xu Duan 12g, Sheng Di Tan 12g, Zhi Huang Qi 12g, decoct and take orally.
(2) Chao Dan Pi 6g, Sheng Di Tan 12g, Chai Hu 9g, Yu Jin 9g, Bai Shao 12g, Shan Mao Gen 12g, decoct and take orally.
【Syndrome Differentiation and Modification】
Add Shan Yu Rou and Mo Han Lian if kidney deficiency; add Huang Qi, Fu Ling, Chen Pi if spleen deficiency.

【Comment】
The pathogenesis of ovulatory uterine bleeding is often related to organ function and imbalance of Chong and Ren meridians.
