Folk Remedy Composition: Fresh scallion tops, appropriate amount. Usage: Crush and extract juice, mix with child’s urine and take.
Notes: This condition often results from liver depression transforming into fire affecting the lung, or yin deficiency with lung heat, damaging collateral vessels, causing blood to surge upward due to fire. For liver fire affecting lung: also presents irritability, headache, rib pain, bitter mouth, dry throat, restlessness. For yin deficiency: also shows afternoon fever, cough, flushed cheeks, hot palms and soles.
Folk Remedy Composition: Dragon boat flower root, fresh desmodium root. Function and Indication: Retrograde menstruation. Symptoms: dizziness, slight fever, red face, red eyes, lower back and waist soreness, abdominal pain. Usage: crush desmodium root, soak dragon boat flower root for several days, then steam and dry in shade.
