Green Lignite Stone
This product is metamorphic rock composed of biotite schist or chloritized mica-carbonate schist. After mining, remove mud, sand, and impurities.
【Appearance】Biotite schist mainly appears as flaky or lamellar aggregates. Irregular flat blocks or oblique elongated blocks, without distinct edges. Brownish-black or greenish-black, with metallic luster. Soft texture, easily broken, fracture shows obvious laminar structure. Powder mainly consists of greenish-black flakes with spark-like shimmer. Slight odor, bland taste.
Chloritized mica-carbonate schist appears as flaky and granular aggregates. Gray or greenish-gray, interspersed with silver or pale yellow flakes, glossy. Loose texture, easily broken. Powder is gray-green flakes and particles; flaky parts show star-point-like sparkle. Reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid producing bubbles; upon heating, effervescence becomes vigorous. Slight odor, bland taste.
【Taste and Nature】Sweet, salty, neutral. Enters Lung, Heart, Liver meridians.
【Function and Indication】Sinks phlegm, descends qi, calms liver, relieves shock. Used for stubborn phlegm accumulation, severe cough and shortness of breath, epilepsy, mania, restlessness, chest tightness, convulsions due to fright.
【Usage and Dosage】3–6 grams, usually taken in pill or powder form.
