Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula for Male Infertility I
One, Lycium Berry: has effects of nourishing yin, replenishing blood, enriching essence, and promoting fertility; suitable for male infertility caused by various reasons, especially those due to kidney essence deficiency and qi-blood deficiency, including azoospermia, oligospermia, excessive dead sperm, immunological infertility, high incidence of abnormal sperm, and impaired sperm motility. Dosage: 30 g, chewed or decocted and taken orally.
Two, Processed Fo-ti: tonifies liver and kidney, nourishes essence, promotes fertility; suitable for infertility caused by liver-kidney insufficiency, kidney essence depletion, and qi-blood deficiency, including azoospermia, oligospermia, excessive dead sperm, high incidence of abnormal sperm, immunological infertility, and impaired sperm motility. Dosage: 50 g, decocted and taken orally.
Three, Fried Rehmannia: nourishes yin, replenishes blood, enriches essence, promotes fertility; suitable for oligospermia, excessive dead sperm, high incidence of abnormal sperm, immunological infertility due to kidney yin deficiency and blood deficiency. Dosage: 30 g, decocted and taken orally, or steamed, stewed, or braised.
Four, Purple River Car Powder: tonifies kidney, enriches essence, replenishes qi and blood; suitable for infertility due to kidney yang deficiency, kidney essence depletion, and qi-blood deficiency, including azoospermia, oligospermia, excessive dead sperm, non-liquefaction of semen, immunological infertility, impaired sperm motility, and high incidence of abnormal sperm. Dosage: 2–3 times daily, 1.5–3 g each time, taken with warm water.
Five, Ginseng: rescues deficiency, generates body fluids, strengthens spleen and lungs, nourishes essence and promotes fertility; suitable for various deficiency syndromes and infertility due to qi deficiency and blood stasis, including azoospermia, oligospermia, excessive dead sperm, immunological infertility, and impaired sperm motility. Dosage: one piece of ginseng, sliced thinly and held in mouth, or ground into fine powder and taken with warm water, 2–3 times daily, 2–3 g each time, or 3 g ginseng boiled in a clay pot.<Male Infertility>
