Raw chestnuts 500g, sugar 250g. First boil chestnuts in water for half an hour, cool, peel off shells, steam in bowl for 40 minutes. While still hot, mash with knife into paste, mix with sugar, shape into flat cakes, place on plate—delicious and nutritious food, suitable for regular consumption by children. Regular intake is effective in treating childhood rickets.
