Sugar-Soaked Red Dates
[Ingredients] 50g dried red dates, 50g red sugar, 100g peanuts.
[Preparation] Briefly boil peanuts, cool, remove skins, then combine with rehydrated red dates in the same water used to boil peanuts. Add sufficient cold water, simmer over low heat for about half an hour, add red sugar, and cook until the syrup thickens.
[Usage] Consume three times daily.
[Effect] Tonifies qi and generates blood. Suitable for nutritional deficiency-related and malignant anemia, thrombocytopenia.
[Comment] Red dates and peanuts are rich in iron, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamins, which promote bone marrow hematopoietic function, capable of both generating blood and stopping bleeding. This formula uses only red sugar; alternatively, rice can be used to prepare porridge.
