Small fish 500 grams, baking powder 6 grams, flour 250 grams, white pepper powder, vegetable oil, lard in appropriate amounts. Select small fish of any variety, remove head and intestines, clean thoroughly, marinate with salt, yellow wine, and white pepper powder. Mix flour, baking powder, a little salt, vegetable oil, and lard with water to form a crispy batter. Heat oil in a wok, dip fish into the batter, fry until golden brown, then serve. Eat with meals.
After frying, both flesh and bones of small fish are edible, providing protein and calcium. Beneficial for both adults and children.
Fish generally tonify, either benefiting qi and nourishing blood or warming yang and nourishing yin.
