First, wash and dry both palms. Cut the musk analgesic plaster in half and apply to the Laogong point on the left palm (at the midpoint between the second and third metacarpal bones, where the fingertip rests when making a fist). Apply once daily, usually effective after 3–5 applications. Avoid use during pregnancy.
Boil 20 grams of stemona to obtain 100 ml of decoction. Gargle repeatedly for about 10 minutes, then swallow. Once daily, 50 ml per dose.
1 gram each of golden ingot pill and notoginseng mixed into a paste with erythromycin ointment, apply externally on the Tian Tu point (midpoint of the suprasternal notch), cover with gauze or wax paper, secure with adhesive tape. Once daily (avoid use during pregnancy)—usually effective after one application.
