Boiled Red Dates with Peanut Skins for Blood Nourishment
Ingredients: Peanut kernels, red dates
Preparation: Soak 50 grams peanut kernels in warm water for half an hour, peel off skins; soak 30 grams dried red dates in warm water until plump, wash clean. Put peanut skins (wrapped in cloth) and red dates into a pot, add water, simmer gently for half an hour over low heat. Remove the cloth bag, add a small amount of brown sugar, wait until dissolved. Both soup and dates can be consumed.
Benefits: Effective for postpartum blood deficiency, nutritional anemia, malignant anemia, thrombocytopenia, abnormal blood test results after chemotherapy, and beneficial for invigorating qi and nourishing blood.
