Achieving Soft, Smooth Skin
The only way to keep skin soft and delicate is consistent self-care. Skincare methods must be tailored to your skin type—do not blindly imitate others. However, the following four practices apply to all skin types. Following these tips not only maintains beautiful skin but also enhances internal health.(1) Every night, no matter how busy, always wash your face before sleeping. Never go to bed without washing your face.
(2) Never rub your face vigorously with a towel. Avoid using towels to wash your face. Instead, use your fingers, moving in circular motions gently. After washing, pat dry with a clean towel. To maintain beautiful skin, cleanliness is essential. Wash your face every morning, after meals, after exercise, and before bedtime. However, those with dry skin may skip washing after meals.
(3) When drying your face with a cloth, never rub. Use pressing or tapping motions only. Only use rubbing if necessary to remove stubborn dirt—but limit it strictly to cleaning purposes. Avoid rubbing otherwise.
(4) Maintain balanced daily routines involving diet, sleep, exercise, and fresh air intake. Eat at regular times and in moderate portions. Avoid overeating.
