250g pine leaf, 250g lotus grass, 250g horsehair ointment (prepared), 250g leek root, 60g fructus viticis, 30g windproof (without root), 30g white芷, 15g magnolia flower seed, 15g rhizoma coptidis, 15g salt, 15g ligusticum, 15g angelica root, 15g mulberry twig, 15g patchouli, 15g agarwood, 15g lingling fragrance.
Chop finely, first boil 500g white bark of mulberry tree with 8 liters of water until reduced to 5 liters, filter out residue, store in ceramic vessel. Apply externally to affected area 3–5 times daily.
This formula treats lack of eyebrow, hair, or beard growth due to blood deficiency and wind-heat.<Mingmu>
