Massage for nasal health: Use the middle segment of the thumb back of both hands, rub them warm, then rub along both sides of the nasal bridge 32 times; use index fingers to scrape down the nasal bridge 16 times; rub the tip of the nose with index fingers of both hands 16 times each; finally press and massage the Yingxiang points on both sides of the alae nasi with index fingers 32 times. This method clears meridians and enhances local blood circulation, effectively preventing colds and nasal diseases.
Qigong for nasal health: As described in "Illustrated Manual of Internal Exercises," there are three steps for nasal health qigong. Warm thumbs, wipe the nasal region 36 times; then calm the mind, clear distractions, gaze steadily at the tip of the nose, silently count breaths for 3–5 minutes. Before bedtime, lie prone on the bed without a pillow, knees bent, soles of feet upward, inhale clean air deeply through the nose 4 times, exhale 4 times, then return to normal breathing.
