Yam Pancake
[Ingredients] 50 g Huai yam, 100 g flour, 1 egg.
[Preparation] Grind yam into fine powder, mix with flour. Add beaten egg, stir evenly. Add chopped green onion, refined salt, and a small amount of sesame oil. Knead into dough. Fry into thin pancakes on a greased flat pan.
[Consumption] Take in the morning and afternoon.
[Benefits] Tonifies qi and nourishes yin, lowers blood sugar.
[Indications] Diabetes of Qi-Yin deficiency type, characterized by excessive thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, sweating with exertion, weight loss, shortness of breath, warmth in palms and soles, pale red tongue with little coating, and weak pulse.
