Sugar-Boiled Red Dates
[Ingredients] Dried red dates 50 grams, red granulated sugar 50 grams, peanuts 100 grams.
[Preparation] Briefly boil peanuts, cool, remove skins, combine with soaked red dates in the peanut cooking water, add appropriate cold water, simmer over low heat for about half an hour, then add red granulated sugar and stir until dissolved, reduce sauce.
[Usage] Consume all in three doses per day.
[Action] Tonifying qi and generating blood. Suitable for nutritional deficiency anemia and malignant anemia after childbirth, thrombocytopenia.
[Commentary] Red dates and peanuts are rich in iron, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamins, promoting bone marrow hematopoietic function, capable of both blood production and hemostasis. This formula uses only red granulated sugar; alternatively, it can be prepared as congee with glutinous rice.
