Various Treatments for Arrhythmia

Arrhythmia
This condition refers to any abnormality in the origin of heart rhythm, heart rate, rhythm, or impulse conduction. Arrhythmia can be self-detected by simply feeling the pulse at the wrist to check whether the heartbeat is too fast or too slow, whether the intervals are equal, and whether it is regular—this allows preliminary detection of arrhythmia.
Traditional Chinese medicine holds that chronic diseases such as chest obstruction, heart pain, epigastric fullness, coughing, wheezing, and cardiac obstruction may lead to deficiency of yang qi, resulting in inadequate warming and transportation of the heart vessels, and deficiency of yin blood, causing the heart vessels to lose nourishment and thus leading to conditions characterized by slow, rapid, abrupt, intermittent, or irregular pulses—including even more severe cases like "absent pulse." These pulse patterns can reflect arrhythmia. The following are commonly used secret formulas and folk remedies:
[Formula One]
Sour jujube seed 30–45 grams, glutinous rice 100 grams. Crush the jujube seeds, decoct them concentratedly to extract juice, then cook glutinous rice with appropriate water until half-cooked. Add the jujube juice and continue cooking into porridge. Consume warm during dinner.
[Formula Two]
Black beans 50 grams, longan flesh 15 grams, red dates 50 grams. Add three bowls of clean water and decoct down to two bowls, divided and taken twice daily.
[Formula Three]
Angelica sinensis, fresh ginger each 75 grams, lean lamb meat 1000 grams, a small amount of star anise and cinnamon bark. Simmer slowly until meat is tender. Remove herbal residue, eat meat and drink soup, take moderate amounts each time.
Effective for bradycardia, sick sinus syndrome, and conduction block.
