Gourd Porridge
[Ingredients] 15 grams of aged gourd powder, 100 grams of glutinous rice, and appropriate amount of rock sugar.
[Preparation] First, add glutinous rice and rock sugar to a clay pot with water and cook until the rice softens. Then add aged gourd powder and cook briefly until porridge thickens.
[Usage] Consume warm twice daily, one course lasting 7 days.
[Function] Promotes urination and reduces edema. Suitable for edema due to nephritis, heart disease, and foot edema from beriberi.
[Comment] Consuming aged gourd powder in porridge is easy to digest. Adding rock sugar improves taste, making it more palatable. The older the aged gourd powder, the better its efficacy.
