Longevity Secrets of Centenarians
Is there a secret to longevity? Ancient wisdom says: “My fate is in my hands, not in heaven. Misusers die young; wise users live long.” Clearly, personal control over life plays a major role. With proper health preservation and sound self-care, one can extend lifespan.
“Wisdom” means “proper health preservation,” and “sound methods” mean “effective self-care.” After reviewing extensive records of centenarians and visiting many living super-elderly individuals, I discovered unique lifestyles and habits among them—distinctive routines in eating, sleeping, and daily life. Regular Daily Routine
In Hubei Province’s Chibi City, 107-year-old Wang Yisheng lives extremely regularly. Every morning, he massages acupoints like Tian Ting and Taiyang on his head before getting up. After washing, he gazes into the distance outdoors for 15 minutes, then walks 15 minutes after breakfast. After lunch, he sits quietly for 15 minutes, focusing his energy and mind.
