Ganoderma and Wheat Porridge
Ganoderma 50g, wheat 60g, glutinous rice 50g, rock sugar 30g. Glutinous rice must be soaked thoroughly; add rice only after water boils to prevent sticking. Ganoderma should be boiled first to extract its essence; sugar should not be added too early for optimal effect.
① Wash wheat and glutinous rice thoroughly and soak. Wash ganoderma.
② Place ganoderma and water in a clay pot, boil for 30 minutes to extract flavor.
③ Add water, wheat, and glutinous rice to the clay pot, simmer slowly until soft. Then add ganoderma decoction and rock sugar, cook briefly to finish.
Ganoderma has a neutral nature and sweet taste, rich in proteins and amino acids, offering benefits such as tonifying qi and blood, nourishing the heart, and calming the spirit. Wheat has a cool nature and sweet taste, capable of clearing heat, nourishing the heart, benefiting the kidneys, and quenching thirst.
