Using Foods to Treat Oral Ulcers
Honey Mouthwash Method: Use 10% honey solution for gargling, which can alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and promote cell regeneration.
Honey Therapy: After cleaning the mouth, apply honey directly onto the ulcer using a sterilized cotton swab. Avoid eating immediately afterward. After about 15 minutes, swallow the honey along with saliva, then reapply. Repeat several times per day.
Zinc sulfate Therapy: Take zinc sulfate tablets or 1% zinc sulfate syrup. Adults take 40–80 mg each time, three times daily. Usually, symptoms resolve within 5–7 days.
Wood Ear Therapy: Use 10 grams each of white wood ear, black wood ear, and hawthorn, decocted in water, drink the soup and eat the fungi, once or twice daily, effective for treating oral ulcers.
Chocolate Therapy: Mix cocoa powder and honey into a paste, repeatedly suck and swallow, several times daily, effective for treating oral inflammation and ulcers.
Cabbage Root Therapy: Use 60 grams of cabbage roots, 15 grams of garlic sprouts, and 10 jujubes, decocted and consumed once or twice daily, effective for treating oral ulcers.
Seed Therapy: Use 30 grams each of white radish seeds, mustard seeds, and 15 grams of green onion whites, crush together, apply to the sole of the foot, once daily, effective for treating oral ulcers.
Apple Therapy: Peel one apple (pear can be substituted), slice and place in a container, add cold water (just covering the fruit), bring to boil, let cool slightly, then hold in mouth with wine for a moment before consuming. Continue for several days to cure.
Walnut Shell Therapy: Boil 30–50 grams of walnut shells twice, take once in the morning and once in the evening daily.
