Herbal Diet for Intercostal Neuralgia 1
Huoxue Hei Dou Tang (Blood-Activating Black Bean Soup)
Recipe: Salvia miltiorrhiza 10g, safflower 6g, peach kernel 6g, tangerine peel 6g, black beans 150g, lean pork 250g, red radish 250g, ginger 10g, green onion 15g, salt 5g.
Preparation: Wash Salvia miltiorrhiza, slice it; wash tangerine peel, cut into strips; wash safflower and peach kernel; wash pork, cut into 3cm cubes; wash radish, cut into 5cm cubes; clean black beans of impurities; slice ginger, chop green onion. Place pork, radish, black beans, Salvia miltiorrhiza, safflower, peach kernel, tangerine peel, ginger, green onion, and salt in a stew pot, add 1000ml water. Bring to boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
Consumption: Once daily, eat with meals. Consume 30–50g pork and black beans per serving.
Function: Tonify qi and blood, resolve blood stasis. Suitable for patients with intercostal neuralgia due to qi stagnation and blood stasis.<neuralgia>
