Food Therapy to Restore Passionate "Sexual Happiness"
In medicine, lack of pleasure or indifference toward sex in women is termed "cold vagina." Numerous causes exist: ovarian insufficiency, dysfunction of adrenal cortex and pituitary glands, but most cases stem from psychological factors such as emotional suppression, fear, or sexual incompatibility.
It is generally believed that "cold vagina" results from deficient lower energizer and cold stagnation.
Treatment primarily involves relieving anxiety and aversion toward sex. Couples must cooperate closely, show mutual understanding, and under guidance from experienced doctors, focus on psychological therapy and sexual counseling, supplemented appropriately by dietary therapy—this condition is curable. Women experiencing "cold vagina" may benefit from the following foods, which can effectively warm the body.
Recipe One: Cook 250 grams of dog meat and 50 grams of black beans with salt, ginger, five-spice powder, and a little sugar until done; alternatively, cook dog meat with star anise, fennel, cinnamon, tangerine peel, cardamom, ginger, and salt.
Recipe Two: Use three sparrows, remove feathers and internal organs, marinate with 15 grams each of dodder seed and epimedium in one kilogram of rice wine or white liquor for 15 days, then consume; or chop three to five sparrows, remove feathers and organs, stir-fry until cooked, mix with rice to make porridge, add salt and scallions, consume on an empty stomach.
Recipe Three: Cook 15 grams of shrimp and three blocks of tofu with scallions, ginger, and salt until done; alternatively, soak 50 grams of shrimp meat, stir-fry with 250 grams of chopped leeks in oil, add salt for seasoning.
Recipe Four: Select young cistanche, scrape off scales, rinse with wine, remove ink residue, slice thinly, stew with yam and lamb; or stew cooked cistanche (sliced) with rice and lamb, season and consume.
Recipe Five: Soak sea dog kidney in wine, mash, mix with glutinous rice and yeast to brew wine, take two spoonfuls twice daily; alternatively, use one whole sea dog kidney, 15 grams of ginseng, and 50 grams of Chinese yam (first soak sea dog kidney in wine, slice), steep in one kilogram of rice wine or white liquor for one month, then drink two spoonfuls twice daily.
Recipe Six: Simmer 4–5 winter worm summer grass with a 500-gram chicken (or lean meat if chicken is not preferred) until tender; alternatively, stew 10–15 grams of winter worm summer grass with one fresh placenta, steam until cooked.
Recipe Seven: Place 30 grams of goji berries and one pigeon (feathers and internal organs removed) in a steamer, add sufficient water, steam until tender, eat meat and drink soup.
