TCM Methods for Indigestion After Overeating

Eating too much meat: causes loss of appetite, abdominal pain, belching, nausea. Use 90g of roasted hawthorn fruit, ground into fine powder, take 15g each time with warm water, twice daily. For discomfort caused by beef, use one handful of dry rice straw, boil into concentrated soup, drink hot. For discomfort from excessive dog meat or lamb, use 14 hawthorns and 24 apricot kernels, boiled into concentrated soup for consumption.
Overeating noodles: leads to loss of appetite and abdominal pain. Use 30g of fermented wheat, 10g of stir-fried radish seeds, and 10g of malt, decocted and taken once daily, divided into three doses.
Overeating grains: causes decreased appetite. Take an appropriate amount of scorched rice crust (from millet, glutinous rice, or japonica rice), crush into powder, take 5g with warm water, three times daily. Alternatively, decoct 30g of stir-fried malt, or use fresh radish juice after crushing.
Overeating glutinous rice balls: use 30g of stir-fried malt, decocted and taken orally.
Overeating eggs: use 30g of fermented wheat steeped in water, or mix one tablespoon of vinegar with rice gruel.
Excessive raw fruits and vegetables: use 1.5g of cloves and 15g of fermented wheat, steeped in water as tea substitute.
Overeating fish: causes discomfort; use 15g of red yeast rice, decocted and taken orally.
Excessive alcohol: use 500g of fresh radish, wash, crush, extract juice, then add sugar and vinegar to the juice and consume.
