TCM Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment for Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a common gynecological illness, referring to inflammation of female pelvic reproductive organs, including endometritis, pelvic peritonitis, pelvic connective tissue inflammation, and salpingo-oophoritis. TCM also offers effective methods for treating PID.
Traditional TCM classifies PID into five types, combining syndrome differentiation with Western medicine treatment to achieve both symptomatic and root-cause resolution.

Heat-Toxin Type: high fever, chills, headache, lower abdominal pain, profuse vaginal discharge resembling pus, foul-smelling, yellow urine, constipation, red tongue, yellow coating, slippery or rapid pulse.
