Traditional Chinese Medicine Offers Effective Remedies for Pelvic Inflammation

Pelvic inflammatory disease is a common gynecological condition, referring to inflammation of the female pelvic reproductive organs, including endometritis, peritonitis of the pelvis, pelvic connective tissue inflammation, and salpingo-oophoritis. Traditional Chinese medicine also has effective methods for treating pelvic inflammatory disease.
Traditional Chinese medicine classifies pelvic inflammatory disease into five types, and combining syndrome differentiation with Western medical treatment can achieve both symptomatic and root-cause treatment.
1. Heat-Toxin Type: High fever, chills, headache, lower abdominal pain, excessive vaginal discharge resembling pus with a foul odor, yellow urine, constipation, red tongue with yellow coating, slippery or taut-rapid pulse. Remedy: Chrysanthemum Suppository: External use, 1 tablet each time, rectal administration, once every 12 hours.
2. Damp-Heat Type: Low-grade fever, burning sensation in the lower abdomen, dry mouth without desire to drink, excessive yellow and thick vaginal discharge, or mixed red-yellow, red tongue with greasy yellow coating, slippery rapid pulse. Remedy: Golden Rooster Capsule: 4 tablets each time, three times daily, taken with warm water.
3. Damp-Heat Stagnation Type: Distending pain in the lower abdomen, bitter taste and dry mouth, yellow and thick vaginal discharge, turbid urine, hard stool, dark red tongue with yellow or white coating, wiry or wiry-rapid pulse. Remedy: Women's Health Granules: 20g each time, twice daily, dissolved in boiling water.
4. Blood Stasis Obstruction Type: Persistent lower abdominal pain that worsens with pressure, irregular menstruation or heavy flow with clots, purple-dark tongue or ecchymoses, thin coating, deep wiry or sluggish pulse. Remedy: Women's Menstrual Pain Pills: 9g each time, twice daily, taken with warm water.
5. Deficiency of Chong and Ren Meridians (Cold) Type: Cold pain in the lower abdomen, prefers warmth and pressure, excessive clear and thin leukorrhea, cold intolerance, cold limbs, pale tongue with thin white coating, deep fine pulse. Remedy: Warm-Meridian Pill: 1 pill each time, twice daily, taken with warm water.
