Three Homemade Herbal Face Masks
In daily life, many women enjoy making their own skincare products, believing homemade items use superior, reliable ingredients and carry no worries about safety.
Homemade skincare products typically require a base cream, such as snowflake cream, to which suitable nutrients are added. Below are three common methods:
First: Mix 10 grams of snowflake cream with 0.1 grams of pearl powder into a paste. Apply to the face nightly for two hours per session. A course lasts 1–3 months, improving facial radiance and preventing skin sagging.
Second: Mix 10 grams of snowflake cream with 0.3 grams of Coptis powder into a paste. Apply to the face nightly for two hours per session. Course duration: 1–3 months. Effective for treating enlarged pores and skin inflammation.
Third: Combine pearl powder and glycerin in a strictly sterilized container to form a paste. Apply to the face and leave for 2–3 hours. Wash off before bedtime. Continuous use for 3 months reduces wrinkles and age spots, delaying skin aging.
However, frequent use of self-made skincare products requires careful attention to ingredient quantities. Excessive nutrients beyond skin absorption capacity lead to waste. Too much oil from creams like snowflake cream may clog pores and cause acne. If possible, rely primarily on qualified cosmetics sold in regular stores, using homemade products occasionally—three to five days per month as a supplement.
