TCM Beauty Method: Flower Porridge
Busy moms focused on slimming and shaping their figures shouldn’t forget to nourish their skin. Now, eating flowers has become a new dietary trend. Regular flower consumption regulates nerves, promotes metabolism, boosts immunity, and contributes to beauty and radiant skin.
Daisy Porridge
Method: Remove daisy petals, dry, grind into fine powder. Cook 50–100 grams rice into porridge, stir in 10–15 grams daisy powder before finishing, cook one or two more minutes.
Benefits: Fragrant and cool, daisies combined with rice leverage grain properties to enhance medicinal effects. Long-term use improves complexion and delays aging.
Cauliflower Porridge
Method: Use 50 grams fresh cauliflower, 50–100 grams rice, appropriate rock sugar. Add 500 grams water, simmer gently until porridge thickens. Add vegetable oil until surface shows oil. Consume morning and evening.
Benefits: Fragrant and refreshing, cauliflower porridge promotes blood circulation and beauty, lubricates intestines, aids bowel movement.
Plum Blossom Porridge
Method: Cook 50–100 grams rice into porridge, add 10 grams plum blossom before finishing, cook one or two more minutes.
Benefits: Regulates liver, relieves depression, beautifies and enhances vitality. Delightful aroma stimulates appetite and supports youthful appearance.
Peach Blossom Porridge
Method: Place 2 grams peach blossoms in a sandpot, soak in water for 30 minutes. Add washed 100 grams rice, simmer gently until porridge forms. Stir in 30 grams rock sugar, mix well.
Benefits: Beautifies skin, treats blood stasis. Not recommended for long-term use; discontinue during menstruation.
