What Exercises Should Be Done for Kidney Deficiency?
As the saying goes: “All medicine carries some toxicity.” Those with kidney deficiency should prioritize strengthening their constitution rather than relying on supposed magical remedies.
Tai Chi: Tai Chi is a slow, waist-centered exercise ideal for middle-aged and elderly individuals with weak constitutions.
Self-massage of the lower back: Rub both palms together until warm, then place them on the lower back and massage up and down until a warm sensation is felt. Do this twice daily, about 200 times each session.
Stimulate the sole of the foot: The Yongquan point on the sole is where turbid qi descends. Regularly massaging Yongquan strengthens kidney essence, boosts vitality, and prevents premature aging. Method: Warm both palms by rubbing, then use the left hand to rub the right foot sole, and the right hand to rub the left foot sole. Perform once in the morning and once in the evening, 300 times each session.
Anal contraction: Relax completely, breathe naturally. Exhale while contracting the anus, inhale while relaxing. Repeat about 30 times. This promotes pelvic circulation, aids recovery of reproductive organs, and effectively treats impotence and premature ejaculation caused by kidney qi deficiency.
