Three Teas for Office Workers’ Body Beautification and Weight Loss
Are you an office worker? Do you want a beautiful figure? If you're eager to lose weight but unwilling to endure hunger or lack time for the gym, here’s a clever solution—drinking tea!
Why does tea help slim down? TCM believes obesity stems from "dampness," "phlegm," and "fluid stagnation." Therefore, ideal slimming foods primarily strengthen the spleen and stomach, promote diuresis, and resolve fluid retention—exactly what tea does. It clears heat, promotes urination, resolves phlegm, aids digestion, warms and nourishes the spleen and stomach. Oolong tea and Tieguanyin are widely loved. After eating greasy meals, people often brew a fragrant cup of tea because it helps relieve stomach discomfort—precisely due to its ability to dissolve greasiness.
Minority groups have habits of drinking butter tea and milk tea. They are predominantly meat-eaters, clearly showing tea's significant role in digesting meat.
Modern research confirms tea contains caffeine, theophylline, theobromine, volatile oils, vitamin C, quercetin, tannins, etc., all beneficial for lowering blood lipids and boosting metabolism. Suitable for various types of obesity.
