Black Fungus and Red Date Soup for a Healthy Complexion
Black Fungus and Red Date Soup for a Healthy Complexion
All women desire a rosy complexion, glowing even without makeup. Yet some women often have yellowish skin, especially during menstruation—often due to anemia. They should eat more blood-nourishing foods like red dates and black fungus.
Black fungus has the highest iron content among all fungi. Both black and white fungi are polysaccharides with certain anti-tumor effects. Black fungus also clears lungs and strengthens qi, aiding in the elimination of fibrous materials. Red dates treat spleen and stomach weakness, blood deficiency, jaundice, and thrombocytopenia. Regular consumption of red dates by women improves complexion, making them radiant without cosmetics. Combining black fungus and red dates into a blood-nourishing soup, consuming daily or every other day from one week before menstruation until its end, can transform yellowish skin into a healthy, rosy glow.
Ingredients: 10g black fungus, 50g red dates, appropriate sugar. Cook black fungus and red dates with water until soft, then add sugar.
Note: Avoid eating seafood while drinking this soup, as it may cause abdominal pain. Do not consume if experiencing abdominal discomfort or bloating. Limit red date intake to no more than 10 per serving.
