◆ Rose Petal Tea
Use 6 to 10 dried rose petals, place in a teacup, pour hot water over them, and drink.
Benefits: Rose petals are warm in nature and sweet in taste, suitable for those with liver-gastric qi stagnation, chest and armpit distension and pain, and prone to anger.
◆ Lotus Hawthorn Chrysanthemum Tea
Compose of lotus flower (6 grams), hawthorn (15 grams), honeysuckle (3 grams), and chrysanthemum (10 grams). Add these ingredients to 500 ml of clean water, boil, and drink.
Benefits: Lotus flower is sweet, neutral, and slightly cool, clears lung heat and removes dampness, reduces swelling; hawthorn is sour and sweet, promotes blood circulation; honeysuckle is sweet and cold, clears heat.
Not suitable for those who are easily fatigued, have loose stools (thin diarrhea in TCM terms), or pale complexion.
◆ Goji Chrysanthemum Herbal Tea
Composed of 10 grams each of goji berries, white chrysanthemum, and green tea. Steep these ingredients in boiling water for 10 minutes and drink.
Benefits: Chrysanthemum is sweet and bitter; goji berries are sweet and neutral, nourishes yin and moisturizes dryness; suitable for those with poor vision, dry mouth, dizziness, and blurred vision.
Not suitable for those with cold hands and feet, weak spleen, or prone to diarrhea.
◆ Cassia Seed Tea (also known as Cassia Tea)
Crush 30 grams of cassia seeds and decoct into tea. Benefits: Clears heat, improves eyesight, lubricates the intestines, and promotes bowel movements. Suitable for those frequently experiencing dizziness, irritability, constipation, dry mouth, and bitter taste.
Not suitable for those with lower back pain, frequent urination, or deficient kidney yang.
