[Drug Composition] Root of maple-willow-pear 60 g, rhizoma of cow knee 12 g, root of star anise tree 30 g, hook vine 12 g, great blood-moving herb 18 g, root of golden rose 18 g, salvia 18 g, white wine 1 L, cinnamon twig 12 g, red sugar 60 g
[Function and Indications] Dispels wind-dampness, unblocks meridians, benefits joints. Treats rheumatoid arthritis, trauma, hemiplegia, sprains, and strains.
[Dosage and Administration] Oral. 15 g each time, two to three times daily.
[Preparation Method] Slice the roots of maple-willow-pear, star anise tree, and golden rose separately; boil twice with water covering the herbs, each boiling for 3–4 hours after boiling point, then filter and concentrate into paste. Other herbs are sliced and soaked in wine heated, then macerated for one month, filtered to collect wine liquid. Mix the concentrated paste obtained above with the wine liquid, add red sugar (best dissolved after being made into syrup), let stand to clarify, filter through fine cloth, and package.
