Fennel Sparrow Wine
[Formula] 30g fennel seeds, 3g pepper, 6g cardamom seeds, 6g cinnamon bark, 3 sparrows, appropriate amount of white wine.
[Preparation] Grind the first four ingredients into powder. Clean and remove feathers and intestines from the live sparrows, then place them into the abdominal cavity filled with the powdered herbs. Secure with hemp rope, wrap in several layers, and roast until fragrant and cooked through, then set aside.
[Function] Warms the kidneys, dispels cold, regulates qi, and relieves pain.
[Indications] Cold hernia, unilateral testicular pain.
[Usage] Oral administration. Chew thoroughly on an empty stomach, followed by warm wine.
