Pain Relief Wine
Three Treasures Yang-Boosting Wine
[Drug Composition] Oil cake cinnamon, camphor, male cardamom each 30g, three-flower wine 500ml
[Function and Indications] Warms yang, dispels cold, opens orifices, transforms turbidity, purifies foul odors. Treats all types of pain.
[Dosage and Administration] Directly drop 5–10 drops onto the tongue, hold briefly then swallow.
[Preparation Method] Crush herbs, soak in three-flower wine for one month, filter out residue, store in a clean bottle.

Note: The author treated 33 cases of pain (chest pain 8 cases, abdominal pain/diarrhea 10 cases, epigastric pain 8 cases, dysmenorrhea 1 case, toothache 3 cases, other pains 3 cases). Results: 21 cases showed significant relief within 3 minutes; 10 cases relieved in 4–15 minutes; 2 cases ineffective.
Ice Toad Wine
[Drug Composition] Camphor, toad, blood-activating resin, safflower, frankincense, myrrh, notoginseng, etc.
[Function and Indications] Detoxifies, purifies foul odors, reduces swelling, relieves pain. Treats all types of pain.
[Dosage and Administration] Apply with cotton swab to painful area, 4–5 times daily, or every 3–4 hours if necessary.
[Preparation Method] Grind herbs into powder, mix and soak in white wine for seven days, collect supernatant, store in small bottles.

Note: Treated 40 cases of various pains. Average onset time: 15 minutes; duration: about 3–4 hours. Total effective rate for first use: 90%; total effective rate after one week: 77.5%.
All-Pain Relief Wine
[Drug Composition] Aconite root, grass aconite each 500g; qianghuo, white peony each 400g; ephedra, cinnamon twig each 300g; dry ginger 360g; fine cinnamon 180g; white wine (60-degree) 12L
[Function and Indications] Warms meridians, dispels cold, unblocks collaterals, removes obstruction. Treats stubborn arthralgia, persistent headache, cold abdominal pain, osteophyte, generalized joint stiffness and pain, lumbar-sacral pain, dysmenorrhea, hernia pain, sprains, carbuncles, paralysis, flaccid paralysis, and all pains caused by cold.
[Dosage and Administration] Use tweezers to dip cotton soaked in wine, ignite with match, quickly apply burning wine to affected area, immediately pat out flame, then rub the area until reddened.
[Preparation Method] Appropriately break herbs, place in suitable container, add white wine, seal, avoid light, stir once daily, soak for 15 days, filter, collect filtrate, bottle for use.

Golden Wine (Li’s Formula)
[Drug Composition] Blood-activating resin 100g, safflower 100g, camphor 50g, good ginger 200g, betel pepper 250g, fine cinnamon 100g, white mustard 100g, camphor 50g, fresh rehmannia 100g, fresh frankincense 50g, myrrh 50g, goosegrass 150g
[Function and Indications] Expels wind, dispels cold, activates blood, unblocks collaterals. Treats coccygeal pain.
[Dosage and Administration] Cut gauze to match pain area, soak in Golden Wine, apply directly to coccyx region, cover with clothing. Use infrared lamp directed at gauze, once daily, 30 minutes per session, ten sessions constitute one course.
[Preparation Method] Mix all herbs, place in 5000ml of 50-degree or higher white wine, soak for ten days, then reserve.

Note: This formula is a famous experience prescription from renowned elder physician Professor Li Tongsheng. Combined with infrared irradiation, it treated 35 cases of coccygeal pain: 24 cured (68.6%), 9 improved (25.7%), total effective rate 94.3%.
