Peripheral Nerve Rupture Anastomosis
Buyang Huanwu Decoction Pharmaceutical Wine
[Composition] Raw Huangqi 120g, Dangguiwei 6g, Chishao 4.5g, Digong, Chuanxiong, Taoren, Honghua each 3g
[Function & Indications] Tonify Qi and activate blood circulation, restore nerve function.
[Dosage & Administration] After peripheral nerve rupture, perform anastomosis within 12 hours; administer one dose of Buyang Huanwu Decoction decoction orally daily for the first four weeks (each dose boiled twice, mixed to about 400ml, divided into morning and afternoon doses); after four weeks, switch to Buyang Huanwu Decoction rice wine infusion, 20ml each time, taken three times daily—morning, afternoon, and evening.
[Preparation Method] Use the above dosage for seven doses, add 5000g rock sugar or honey, soak in 5000ml 30-degree rice wine (drug-to-wine weight ratio approximately 1:5), steep for over two weeks.

Note: A hospital randomly divided 109 patients after peripheral nerve rupture anastomosis into two groups, treated with this method; excellent and good outcome rate was 86.15%.
