White Pigeon Boiled Wine [Drug Composition] White pigeon (feathers removed, cleaned, intestines removed), 30 grams of dragon's blood
[Function and Indication] Dry blood labor disease.
[Usage and Dosage] Consume pigeon meat in two portions. Drink the wine gradually.
[Preparation Method] Place dragon's blood inside the pigeon’s belly, sew shut with needle and thread, boil with good wine (1 liter) until thoroughly cooked. Remove and cool before use.

Comment: This formula uses white pigeon to nourish essence and vital energy, treating women's dry blood labor disease and menstrual arrest. Dragon's blood has sweet and salty taste; sweet tonifies, salty dissolves. It is a key herb for dispersing old blood and generating new blood. Combined with wine’s warming and promoting properties, it forms an excellent dietary remedy with remarkable effects.
Eucommia, Ginseng, and Angelica Wine
[Drug Composition] Eucommia ulmoides 50g, Cyperus rotundus 25g, Codonopsis pilosula 25g, Carthamus tinctorius 15g, Angelica sinensis 25g, Cinnamomum cassia 15g
[Function and Indication] Regulate qi, activate blood, nourish blood, regulate menstruation; used for menstrual arrest.
[Usage and Dosage] Take twice daily—morning 5–10ml, evening 10–20ml—until menstruation resumes. For strong individuals, dosage may be increased to 20–30ml to shorten treatment duration.
[Preparation Method] Cut herbs into small pieces, soak in 500ml of white wine for seven days.
[Precautions] Not suitable for pregnant women, heart disease patients, bronchial asthma sufferers, or those with excessive vaginal discharge.

Comment: This formula uses Codonopsis pilosula and Cinnamomum cassia to strengthen yang and spleen; Cyperus rotundus, Carthamus tinctorius, and Angelica sinensis to regulate qi and activate blood; Eucommia ulmoides guides medicine downward. Thus, this formula is suitable for menstrual arrest caused by yang deficiency and weak qi.
Qi Tongjing Wine
[Drug Composition] Eucommia ulmoides one jin, Sesamum indicum (steamed) three jin, Trichosanthes kirilowii three taels, Persicae semen (roasted, skin and tips removed, double kernels) two sheng
[Function and Indication] Promote menstruation, treat menstrual arrest.
[Usage and Dosage] Once daily, 5 he (about 100ml) each time, gradually increasing to one sheng. More consumption is better.
[Preparation Method] Soak the above herbs in 1.5 sheng of wine for five nights.

Cassia Bark Tongjing Wine
[Drug Composition] Cannabis sativa, Malva verticillata, Eucommia ulmoides (without tips), Belamcanda chinensis, Trichosanthes kirilowii root, Persicae semen (crushed, soaked, skin and tips removed, wheat bran stir-fried until slightly yellow), Cassia bark, Inkstone bottom powder, each two taels
[Function and Indication] Women's menstrual blockage, infertility.
[Usage and Dosage] Warmly take one small cup each time.
[Preparation Method] Crush the herbs finely, soak in two sheng of wine for three days.

Cassia Bark Peony Wine — Original name: Cassia Bark Wine
[Drug Composition] Cassia bark, peony, paeonia, Eucommia ulmoides, dry lacquer, Trichosanthes kirilowii root, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Wu Zhu Yu one sheng, rhubarb three taels, Scutellaria baicalensis, dry ginger each two taels, 200 insects (aphids), 70 each of stink bugs, caterpillars, and leeches, human hair ash, fine cinnamon each one tael, 50 silkworms, Cannabis sativa, fireplace soot three sheng, Rehmannia glutinosa six taels, Polygonum cuspidatum root, tortoise shell five taels, according to Malva verticillata two sheng
[Function and Indication] Menstrual blockage, formation of masses.
[Usage and Dosage] Start with two he, twice daily, gradually increase to three or four he each time.
[Preparation Method] Cut the twenty-four ingredients finely, soak in four dou of wine divided into two jars, soak for seven days, combine into one jar, stir well, then divide again into two jars.

Changchun Wine
[Drug Composition] Changchun fruit 200g, wolfberry 200g
[Function and Indication] Weakness, abdominal cold pain, female menstrual arrest.

[Preparation Method] Crush the two ingredients, place in a bottle, soak in 1500ml of good wine for seven days, then open and use.
