[Function] Warming meridians, promoting yang, reducing fever.
[Indications] High fever with impaired consciousness.
[Usage] External application. The practitioner dips hands into the warm onion liquid and rubs the patient’s neck, chest, back, and limbs until the skin turns red.
[Note] Quoted from "Therapeutic Methods of Chinese Medicine Fumigation, Washing, and Rubbing." This formula is also effective for adult patients. By warming meridians and promoting yang, it relieves stagnation of yang energy, relaxes sweat glands, and facilitates external dissipation of heat, thus achieving good antipyretic effects.
