Snake Bite Medicinal Wine (Snake Bite)
[Formula] 15g each of Mountain Flat Bean herb, Seed Gold herb, Great Golden Notch herb, Double Flying Butterfly stem, Hand-washing Tree bark, White Bald Cypress root bark, Six-angled Chrysanthemum herb, 500ml rice wine.
[Preparation] Wash and dry the first seven herbs, chop finely, place in container, add rice wine, seal, soak for three months, filter and remove residue, then ready.
[Efficacy] Clear heat and detoxify, promote urination and reduce swelling.
[Indications] Poisonous snake bites.
[Administration] Oral. Adults take 30–50ml each time (double dose for severe cases). For Bungarus multicinctus or Elaphe carinata bites: take every half hour, continue for 3 days; after symptom improvement, take every 2–3 hours. For Bungarus multicinctus or Green Bamboo Snake bites: take every 2–3 hours (severe cases every half hour); after improvement, switch to every 2–3 hours. Also apply medicinal wine by rubbing from top to bottom around the wound area, 4–5 times daily. Children and women may dilute with warm water before taking.
