Bai Tou Weng Wine (Lülie)
[Formula] Root of Anemarrhena asphodeloides 150 grams, white wine 1000 milliliters.
[Preparation] First wash the Anemarrhena root to remove soil. Cut into one-inch segments while still moist, place in a jar, add white wine, seal the jar tightly with thick cloth and string, boil over water several times, remove, place on ground in cool shade, let stand for 2–3 days to eliminate fire toxicity, then filter out residue and store in bottle.
[Function] Detoxify, resolve stasis, expel pus, promote wound healing.
[Indication] Long-standing lülie with ulceration, discharge thin and watery, failing to heal.
[Usage] Oral administration. Take 10–20 milliliters one hour after meals, once in the morning and once in the evening. Continue until cured.
