Glutinous Rice Wine (Postpartum Weakness)
[Formula] 4000 grams of glutinous rice, 500 grams of rock sugar, 2000 milliliters of rice wine, and appropriate amount of sweet wine starter (yeast).
[Preparation] First wash glutinous rice, place in a basin with sufficient water, steam until fully cooked. When just cooked, spread out to cool. When temperature feels warm to touch, evenly sprinkle in sweet wine starter, transfer to a container, seal tightly, keep warm for 24–48 hours. Open, add rice wine and rock sugar, re-seal. The next day it becomes ready.
[Function] Warm the middle energizer, boost qi, nourish qi and beautify complexion.
[Indication] Postpartum weakness, dull complexion, spontaneous sweating; or general physical weakness, dizziness, blurred vision, pale complexion, shortness of breath, fatigue, gastric pain due to spleen deficiency, loose stools, etc.
[Usage] Oral administration. Take 50–100 milliliters each time, once or twice daily.
