Bi-Relieving Wine
[Drug Composition] 15g each of processed grass aconite, dry ginger, chicken blood vine, large blood vine root, 3g each of whole scorpion, water leech, 10g each of Bungarus fasciatus, pine sprout (without needles), stonevine, curcuma, continued break
Additions: For prominent dampness, add woodruff, poria; for intense heat, reduce dry ginger and aconite, add honeysuckle, poria; for aversion to cold with redness and swelling, add cinnamon twig, woodruff, honeysuckle; for waist and knee swelling and weakness, double continued break, add eucommia; for upper limb involvement, add mulberry twig; for lower limb involvement, add cow knee; for spleen-kidney deficiency, add cooked rehmannia, angelica, astragalus, cistanche; for elderly or female patients, add codonopsis, angelica, cooked rehmannia, lycium berry.
[Function and Indications] Warm meridians, unblock collaterals, expel wind, remove dampness. Indicated for Bi syndrome.
[Usage and Dosage] Oral, 5ml per dose, 3–4 times daily. Mild cases require one or two doses; severe cases need multiple consecutive doses.
[Preparation Method] Soak herbs in 1g of white wine; let steep for three days in summer, one week in winter before use.
