Chinese Medicine Prescription (1)
【Diagnosis】External wind-heat with internal food accumulation.
【Treatment】Dispel wind and clear exterior, clear heat and eliminate food stagnation.
【Formula Name】Remove Wind-Cold.
【Composition】Honeysuckle 6 g, Uncaria 6 g, Mint 6 g, Forsythia 6 g, Cicada Slough 3 g, Stir-fried Radish Seed 5 g, Licorice 2 g.
【Usage】This is the dosage for children under 1 year old; reduce by half if less than 1 month old; double the dose for children over 2 years old. Add 120 ml water, decoct to 60 ml, divided into three doses, taken once daily. Can also be ground into fine powder, 3–6 g per dose, dissolved in warm water and taken.

【Diagnosis】External warm-heat with dietary stagnation.
【Treatment】Clear and promote dispersion, guide stagnation.
【Formula Name】Qingxuan Daozhi Decoction.
【Composition】Raw gypsum 15–60 g, Trichosanthes root 9–15 g, Artemisia 9–18 g, White Peony 31 g, Mulberry leaf 9–12 g, Red Peony 6–9 g, Bupleurum 6–9 g, Schizonepeta 9 g, Coptis 3–6 g, Hawthorn 9–15 g, Jianqu 9–15 g, Areca 6–9 g, Isatis root 15–31 g.
【Usage】Decoct in water, one dose daily, simmer gently for 5–10 minutes after boiling, filter out residue, take juice according to child’s age, frequent intake. Older children may drink as tea, without time restriction. After taking medicine, avoid going outside, rest, aim for slight perspiration.

【Treatment】Clear heat, purge fire, relieve irritability and thirst.
【Formula Name】Gypsum Anemarrhena Artemisia Decoction.
【Composition】Raw gypsum 10–25 g (pre-decocted), Anemarrhena 6–10 g, Artemisia 10–15 g, Licorice 3–5 g.
【Usage】Decoct and take frequently in small amounts, one dose daily.

【Treatment】Release exterior, transform dampness, clear heat and harmonize center.
【Formula Name】Xinjia Zhengqi Decoction.
【Composition】Perilla leaf 10 g, Agastache 10 g, Forsythia 15 g, Mint 5 g, Angelica dahurica 10 g, Coptis 10 g, Scutellaria 10 g, Licorice 5 g.
【Usage】Decoct in water, one dose daily, decoct to 150 ml; for children under 1 year old, 20 ml per dose; under 2 years old, 30 ml; under 3 years old, 40 ml; administer every 2 hours, four times daily; for children over 3 years old, 150 ml total, divided into three doses.<Children's Cold>
