[Drug Composition] Dioscorea (Yam) 250g Yellow Wine 1500g Honey适量
[Function and Indications] Nourish essence and marrow, strengthen spleen and stomach, dispel wind and dampness. Suitable for conditions caused by spleen-kidney deficiency leading to muscle atrophy, combined with wind pathogen, resulting in vertigo, facial twitching, eye spasm (facial convulsions), stubborn stiffness and weakness in lower limbs, frequent urination.
[Dosage and Administration] Take twice daily, morning and evening, 30–50g each time.
[Preparation Method] Peel and wash yam, place in pot with yellow wine, bring to boil over medium heat, add yam, continuously add yellow wine until completely absorbed and yam is cooked. Remove yam, mix with honey. Alternatively, prepare wine using yam powder, yeast, and rice.

Comment: Yam can be used both as food and medicine, inexpensive and high-quality. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is valued as a tonic for spleen, lung, and kidney, containing glycoproteins, amino acids, vitamin C, starch, choline, etc. Long-term use strengthens qi, builds muscles, improves hearing and vision.
