[Herbal Composition] 5 qian each of ginseng, Angelica, Poria, Wu Yao (Akebia stem), apricot kernel, sand仁 (Amomum seed), Aconite, Bitter Almond, Polygonum multiflorum, Acanthopanax bark, goji berries, Eucommia, Du Zhong, cinnamon bark, Atractylodes, 1 liang each of Cistanche, Psoralea, licorice, 3 qian each of costus root, Citrus aurantium shell, dried ginger, tiger bone (frittered with butter), safflower, white芷 (white angelica), Magnolia bark, tangerine peel, white Atractylodes, Ligusticum, Ephedra, unique-activity, Qianghuo, Sichuan pepper (remove closed mouths and eyes), white peony, cooked Rehmannia, raw Rehmannia, Asparagus root (remove core), Ophiopogon (remove core), windproof, Siberian motherwort, Schisandra, fennel, fine cinnamon, agarwood, white cardamom, 2 liang of jujube meat, 1 jin of real honey, 4 liang of walnut kernels, 1/2 jin of real butter, 3 qian of Gastrodia, 4 liang of fresh ginger
[Function and Indications] Harmonize spleen and stomach, nourish dantian, strengthen tendons and bones, enrich essence and marrow, improve hearing and vision, stabilize the five zang organs, calm the soul, moisturize skin, beautify complexion, strengthen yin and yang, capable of treating all diseases.
[Dosage and Administration] Drink one or two cups regularly.
[Preparation Method] Except for butter and honey, process all other herbs separately, weigh accurately, pack into a silk bag. Place in a jar with 40 jin of high-proof alcohol. Add butter and honey together. Seal the jar tightly. Simmer over low-medium fire using mulberry wood for three incense sticks’ duration. Once the large pot cools, remove and bury in a shaded area for three days to eliminate toxicity.
