Chicken Gizzard Medicinal Remedy

1. Indigestion. Pediatric malnutrition: 30 grams of chicken gizzard, dried and ground into fine powder. Take 3 grams each time with warm water, twice daily for 5–7 days.
2. Simple diarrhea due to indigestion in infants and young children: 50 grams of stir-fried chicken gizzard, 50 grams of calcined alum. Both ground into fine powder. For infants 3–6 months: 1 gram per dose; 6–12 months: 1.5 grams; 1–2 years: 2 grams; over 2 years: increase appropriately. Three times daily, taken with dilute salt (sugar) water.
3. Enuresis: 30 grams of chicken gizzard, baked dry and ground into fine powder. Take 5 grams each time, morning and evening, with warm water.
4. Urinary tract stones: Appropriate amount of chicken gizzard, slightly roasted over low heat (avoid high heat or prolonged stir-frying), ground into fine powder. Use 15 grams each time, steeped in boiling water for 15 minutes, taken on an empty stomach in the morning. After taking, run to assist stone expulsion.
5. Oral ulcers: Appropriate amount of chicken gizzard, burned to charcoal, applied directly onto ulcer surface, three times daily. Usually effective within 1–2 days, fully healed in 3–10 days.
6. Gastric and duodenal ulcers: 60 grams each of chicken gizzard, cuttlebone, and yam; 30 grams each of Corydalis and licorice; 20 grams of stir-fried Myrrha. All ground into fine powder. Made into pills with honey. Take 6–10 grams each time, twice to three times daily, before meals with warm water. Symptoms improve after 3–5 days; complete recovery in 2–3 months.
7. Gastric pain (prefers warmth and pressure): 12 grams of chicken gizzard, 5 grams of Welsh onion seeds, both baked dry and ground into fine powder, divided into two doses. Take with ginger decoction on an empty stomach in the morning and evening.
8. Food accumulation: 10 grams of chicken gizzard, 15 grams of radish seed, 15 grams of scorched hawthorn, 20 grams of fermented wheat, decocted in water and divided into two doses.
9. Chicken gizzard 20 grams, lotus seed 30 grams, golden-embryo fruit 150 grams. Grind first two ingredients into fine powder. Use 10 grams daily, divided into two doses; take golden-embryo fruit 30 grams as decoction to swallow the powder. Continue for 5 days.
10. Children's oral thrush: 10 grams of chicken gizzard, 5 grams of licorice, both baked dry and ground into extremely fine powder. Apply appropriate amount directly to affected area, three times daily for 3–5 days.
