Earth-Artichoke Wine (for Weakness in Waist and Knees)
[Formula] Raw Rehmannia, 40 grams; White Atractylodes, 30 grams; Goji Berries, 24 grams; Five-leafed Acanthopanax, 2 grams; Licorice, 12 grams; Glutinous Rice, 600 grams; Fine Yeast, 50 grams.
[Preparation] Crush the first five ingredients, grind yeast into powder, keep ready. Place herbs in a wok, add water, boil until reduced to 1600 milliliters, strain, pour into container and cool. Wash glutinous rice, steam into rice, cool, mix with yeast, stir well, place in container, seal, keep warm, ferment as usual. After 21 days, wine is mature. Filter out residue to obtain final product.
[Efficacy] Tonify liver and kidney, harmonize spleen and stomach, darken hair and brighten eyes.
[Indications] Weakness in waist and knees, blurred vision, premature graying of hair, frequent urination, spleen deficiency diarrhea, poor appetite, abdominal distension.
[Usage] Oral. Take 15–30 milliliters per dose, three times daily, or drink freely at any time.
