[Drug Composition] Daphne Root Bark 308g Aconite 15e Arisaema 15e Peach Kernel 15s Myrrh 15e Goat's Foot (Horse Chestnut Flower) 15s Hot Ginseng (Huashan Ginseng) 15s Snow-on-a-Grass 15s
[Function & Indications] Rheumatic pain.
[Usage & Dosage] Dip cotton ball in wine and rub on affected area, start lightly then increase pressure until liquid dries. Once or twice daily, ten days constitute one course. If ineffective, wait 3–5 days before starting second course. For severe cases with extensive area or migratory pain, difficult to treat with cold rubbing, combine with oral intake: 15g chicken feces vine (dried is acceptable), decocted in water, divided into two doses daily; or 30–60g Trachelospermum, decocted daily in evening, add a little rock sugar, drink once to induce mild perspiration. Reduce dosage for weak individuals and children.
[Preparation Method] Cut and mix above herbs, add 500ml of 95% ethanol (alcohol), soak for 10–15 days to complete.
